Full Skirts and Florals and Fifties

Lately I have been inspired by vintage looks, classic looks, full skirts and of course florals. Since today is a good day (I am all carbed up) I thought it would be time I had an outfit post. My friend Kat (she also gave me my first blog award! What an amazing week this has been : )) so graciously took these photos of me.

I love skirts, and dresses and rarely ever wear pants (unless you consider yoga pants at the gym) . I know most people find skirts and dresses annoying, but personally, I find them free-ing, flowy and comfortable.

I am going to keep it short today and let the pictures speak for themselves, but the skirt I am wearing if my first ever online purchase from ModCloth. Absolutely love it and cant wait to remix it over and over again.

What I am wearing:
Skirt: ModCloth Top: Old Navy (Last Year)
Belt: Rudsak
Shoes: Expressions (The Bay)
Lipstick: MAC (Cyndi Lauper's Colour)

  13. Hey you! Get out of my plants. haha. just kidding! You look great! Your waist looks great in those full skirts, so tiny! Im into full skirts as well, which is weird cause Im so short but Im like you, I think pants are the devil! Congrats on going to see Ms. Badu live. She is amazing. Try to get as close as you can cause she came down into the audience when I saw her last year. She was like, "can i come down there and sing for ya'll?" She did it during bag lady. Wow such a rush.

  18. You know how I love a good tea length skirt, and this one is no except. The cut and drape is just immaculate, not to mention that the fit is absolutely perfect on you. I'm mainly a skirts and dresses kind of girl, too, so I completely know where you're coming from in this post :)

  20. I find it difficult to wear skirts and dresses very often because 1) I'm too active for them; and 2) I tend to sit like a man.  This leads to me flashing people on a frequent basis, and sometimes, I just don't feel like showing off my underwear.

  26. The skirt looks really good on you!  I am always hesitant to wear full skirts because of my height. :( Congrats on your first purchase at ModCloth! I love their clothes, but they always sell out of the items I want.

I just added you on twitter! Looking forward to tweeting with you. :)

  33. Hi there! I know this is kind of off-topic but I had to ask.
Does running a well-established website such as yours take a lot of work?
I'm brand new to operating a blog however I do write in my diary every day. I'd like to start a blog so I will be able to
share my own experience and thoughts online.
Please let me know if you have any kind of ideas or tips for new aspiring bloggers.
    Appreciate it!

  36. Gday. I noticed your site title, "Blogger: A Fine Balance" doesn't really reflect the content of your web-site. When writing your site title, do you believe it's best to
write it for Search engine optimization or for your audience?
This is one thing I've been battling with due to the fact I want great rankings but at the same time I want the best quality for my visitors.

  37. Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your content seem to be running off the screen
in Chrome. I'm not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I thought I'd
post to let you know. The design and style look great though!

Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Cheers

  41. Have you ever considered about adding a little bit more
than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and all.
But think about if you added some great visuals or video clips to
give your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent
but with pics and clips, this blog could definitely be one of the greatest
    in its field. Good blog!
