Giveaway: So Fresh & So Clean - Bada Bing Soaps

Winter months in Canada can be extremely rough on the skin. With high heat drying our homes and bitterly cold winds propelling us to our destination, its no wonder that the cold can bring uncomfortable dryness and for some people, the problem is worse than just a general tight, dry feeling: The skin can get so dry that it results in flaking, cracking, even eczema (inflamed skin).
It seemed that just at the right time, I was approached by a small family based start-up who specialized in goat's milk soaps. Bada Bing Farm owners Rob and Donna, run and own this small soap business. With their signature mold of a mama goat and her little one, this bar is all natural goodness. It has changed the way my skin reacts in such drying conditions, and the best part, IT SMELLS GREAT!
I've had the opportunity to try the Unscented and Blackberry Vanilla Soaps (smells and feels heavenly!) and now you get the opportunity to try it too!
All you need to do to enter to win $25 dollars worth of good for you, deliciously smelling soaps is fill out and follow the instructions below on the Rafflecopter Giveaway! The winner will contacted via email to claim their prize! Good luck to all, you will not be disappointed!

Year or Fear: Overcoming Loss

First off, I would like to apoligse to all my readers and other bloggers out there. I know I have been MIA for the last month. I am not sure exactly how to begin, but I experienced the loss of a very near and dear family member. Initially we thought we only had hours, but thankfully, we were given weeks. Every spare moment I had, I was at the hospital by the best person I have ever known – my grandfather. I was able to spend a lot of time sitting with him, telling him I loved him, and I was able to share in the process of the “end of life” with other family members.

My Grandfather passed away of February 2nd, 2013, surrounded by his family. As you all know I am taking part in a personal challenge. In January, I strived to reduce my belongings by 25% which I would say; I have been successfully able to do. But the month of February is an even more difficult challenge; learning to cope with the loss of a loved one. Though we were given the opportunity to say goodbye, the loss is still trying for all of us. The month of February will be dedicated to remembering my grandfather, reminiscing about the wonderful presence he had in all our lives and of course learning how to pick up the pieces and move forward.

To all of you out there, take time to be with your loved ones. Call them, write them, visit them because in the end it will never seem like enough time.
In Loving Memory...
