Hair Horror

Thursday night I decided to get my hair cut because my layers had grown out and my bangs were non existent. I love my hair. One thing that some of you know is that my hair takes FOREVER to grow and I finally had it at a length where I wanted it.

Well Mr. Hair Dresser for some reason decided NOT listen to what I wanted (and he was my regular guy!) and went scissor happy. He gave me really weird layers which makes me feel like I have somewhat of a mullet and my bangs? Well lets not go there. I came home, cried and ate a ton of green beans (would have preferred chocolate mind you). and Mr. Hair Dresser has been CUT.  I am not going to let you see the horror either.

Next week Saturday I will show you what I am going to do with it, because at this point I just put it up in a pony tail....34 Days out from competition and now I have another expense to deal with. NOT impressed.

I am also going through another lull. I feel my body has plateaued this week. I see NO changes and it's freaking me out. Just thought I would try and take my mind off things. So....OUTFIT time...lol.

Back in the day when I ACTUALLY had bangs...and glasses. Sigh.

The Locks WERE getting long....Now? grrr...

Part-time job at Coach has its benefits.

You look great! My hair growns really slowly too, and I really hate it when they cut of to much - so I understand you perfectly! Stupid hairdressers :)

  3. That stinks about the hairdresser, but you are a doll and he couldn't have changed that!  Try not to fret about the plateau. Just keep trudging through.  That kept happening to me too and then, one day I would step on the scale and it would be like 3 or 4 lbs less!  Trust the process!  When your body fights you, FIGHT BACK!

  4. I'm sorry, buddy.  I know what that feels like.  I got a bad cut once and wanted to crawl into a cave and die.  Hang in there.

Hang in there...only a month (or so) until those fabulous Better Than Crack brownies!

  7. Ou, love the jewelery! I'm assuming you got them for free ;)?  I honestly think you look fabulous with that hair cut and shouldn't do anything to it - it's a great length for the spring time anyways!

  8. No way, you work at Coach?  That would be very tempting to not use the discount all the time :P  Aww I'm sorry you had a bad hair cut experience.  I actually rarely stay with the same hair dresser for more than a couple of years - I don't know why I think I just get bored and generally I can't do anything funky with my hair so I feel like I need to change hair dressers to change up my look a bit.  I've only had one really bad hair experience and it was when I did a walk in - never again!

  9. What is it with hairdressers this week? I went to mine & told her that since I'm going to be spending the summer in the tropics where it's very hot & humid, I wanted my very thick hair thinned. She practically scalped me! It's way shorter than I wanted but fortunately, mine grows very quickly. This morning someone told me that they thought it looked cute. That helped too. :)

The jewelry is gorgeous, by the way.

  20. Aw, coming home from a bad haircut is the worst!  Hope you figure out what to do with it until it grows out (and that it grows back fast!).

  22. I love the jewelry!  I just know that, if I ever worked at Coach, I wouldn't make any money.  I would actually end up owing money to the store because I would buy everything in sight.
I'm sorry that your haircut sucks. :( That's why God invented ponytails, right?

  24. Aww friend, sorry to hear about your hair tragedy, but honestly, it still looks long to me. There are a million things you can do at that length, just get on youtube and check out some hair tutorials. My favorite is itsjudytime. Good vibes from Cali to Canada.

  27. I am so sorry to hear that sweetie, I love your hair! :(

But it will eventually grow out, just wear some awesome bohemian hats in the meantime or style it in a different way. I am pretty sure you will still look as beautiful as you always do. ♥

  28. Your jewelry is gorgeous! I'll take it all, please. *grabs*

I totally hear you on hair disasters.  I think we've all been there, and when it happens to ME I think to myself, "get a grip, it's just hair!" but I still totally cry and freak out and eat ice cream nonetheless. It's such an awful feeling. :(

But on the bright side, it's always fun to experiment and figure out new ways to wear a bad haircut--and thank goodness for hair tutorials on Youtube!  They've saved many-a-bad-haircut for me!
