Does anyone remember Genuine? Yes? No? the 90's was a era of classic rnb songs and of course, name dropping (I think Genuine must have at least pulled out a good 12 brands to market through his song) jean makers, while at the same time talking about the a single piece of fabric that has changed the way we forever look at fashion. Denim has become one of the more versatile pieces of clothing today. With the different washes (acid wash anyone?) colours (dark, light, grey, orange pink...you get it) and styles (skinny, flared, straight, cropped, don't even get me started on dresses, skirts, shorts etc).

So today is a remix....I am in a jean top so that counts right?

Invitation to my First Blogger Event

Tuesday night I was invited to my first Blogger Event that was hosted by Blackbook at the very serene and simple Thann on Bank Street here in Ottawa

I have to thank Julia of Fashion Keeper for inviting me to this wonderful event. It was so lovely to finally meet her and other fashion bloggers in the city. What a great community!

While it was cold and windy outside, Inside Thann we were pampered with facial treatments, hand soaks and scrubs, cocktails, cupcakes to die for and Sushi!

I took my fellow friend and blogger K to the event for moral support! It was great having her there as back up and she had such an ease about herself when meeting new people

Dernier Cri was there as was TinfoilsTiaras and MizDragonfly. Just a wonderful event in all.

Thann was kind enough to let us leave with a bag of goodies. Can't wait to try the skin care products and tell you all about them.

Thank you again for following. I am posting the last few pictures I have with me and the glasses. but they were outfits that I could not post.

This look is one of my favourites. Simple, classic and has that prairie feel (to me anyway!)

I had one beautiful weekend and as much as I wanted to post more, it was very difficult as it was the first weekend we had the was stunning outside! Blue skies all around.
