Change is Coming to the Rideau Centre

Change is (finally) coming to Ottawa’s Rideau Centre. For someone who has grown up in Toronto, one of the hardest things about moving to Ottawa was that it really was not a fashion destination. The Rideau Centre at that time didn’t have stores like Zara, Forever 21, H&M etc.

Last night select few of us were given a glimpse of what Rideau Centre will be transformed into. It includes stores such as J Crew, Victoria’s Secret Nordstrom and one other secret retailer which will be announced today (Im crossing my fingers it will be H&M).

The event was absolutely fabulous and met some amazing Fashion bloggers again and made some new friends too...

Invitation to my First Blogger Event

Tuesday night I was invited to my first Blogger Event that was hosted by Blackbook at the very serene and simple Thann on Bank Street here in Ottawa

I have to thank Julia of Fashion Keeper for inviting me to this wonderful event. It was so lovely to finally meet her and  other fashion bloggers in the city. What a great community!

While it was cold and windy outside, Inside Thann we were pampered with facial treatments, hand soaks and scrubs, cocktails, cupcakes to die for and Sushi!

I took my fellow friend and blogger K to the event for moral support! It was great having her there as back up and she had such an ease about herself when meeting new people

Dernier Cri was there as was TinfoilsTiaras  and MizDragonfly. Just a wonderful event in all.

Thann was kind enough to let us leave with a bag of goodies. Can't wait to try the skin care products and tell you all about them.
