Teacher's Pet

Back when I was in school, I was the quintessential geek; I had braces and glasses at the same time. Talk about a double whammy. Lets not even discus the curly hair (this was at a time when good hair straighteners were really only available at the salon).

Not much has changed. though I may have straight teeth, no glasses, and tamed hair, I am still a nerd at heart.

Skirt: The Gap (I changed this skirt -used to sit on the hips but had it altered to make it high waisted)

Monochomatic

I am the queen of wearing monochromatic colours. It’s flattering, never goes out of style and makes for a wonderful palette to add pops of colour or accessorize with great jewellery or a cute handbag. This month’s EveryBody EveryWear challenge was putting together a monochromatic outfit – right up my alley.

Knots and Barnacles

 

There's nothing like an EveryBody EveryWear Challenge to get Kat and I to dress in similar outfits on the same day, down to the blue and white stripes. This months Nautical theme has me getting ready to set sail with the classic blues, whites and reds.
