Hostess Hospitality

Earlier this summer, I hosted get-together with some fashionable ladies who I work with. Given the audience (both here and at the party), I thought it may be a great way to take the “hostess” look to another level, and what better way to do it than with a little 50’s flair. I mean when else am I going to be able to prance around in mint heels, sky high buns, and pouffe skirt!?

Although the pictures came out lightly out of focus I love them and had to share.

Floral Arrangement

So I am back, officially from my month long hiatus from the blog. Honestly it was the best thing I could have done. I feel refreshed and ready to get back in the game and catch up majorly on the blog posts I have missed.There have been a few times where I have wanted to post a new recipe, or even an outfit, but as of late my iphone 5 has been giving serious issues. Technology fail!  

while this outfit doesn't exactly scream summer, its been usually cool this August.Honestly 12 degrees (Celsius) makes feel more like fall than anything else. I’m definitely not ready for jacket weather. And as cold as I was this AM waiting for the bus, I refused to let mother nature get the best of me…though between you and meet, I think she won.

Purple Haze

I have no excuse really. I'm sorry for being away for so long, but can you blame me? we have finally had some heat and sun and all I have wanted to do in my spare time is sit on a patio and sun bathe. Sitting on the computer or my smartphone have been the furthest things from my mind. Can you blame me?
